With the publication of its Amsterdam Circular Strategy 2020-2025, the City of Amsterdam has embarked on its path to become a fully circular city by 2050.
Aiming " to ensure a good life for everyone, within the Earth’s natural boundaries", the strategy covers a large number of circular measures for the built environment, food and organic waste streams and consumer goods.
The Amsterdam Circular Strategy is based on the participation, innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship of businesses, residents and the city. It represents the most comprehensive city-wide policy package on the circular economy so far!
